Real World: New Orleans alum Melissa Howard Beck has announced via her blog that she is expecting her first child with a simple "Knock, knock. Who's there? I'm pregnant" post. This will be the first child for Melissa, 31, and husband Justin Beck, founder of MerchDirect and guitarist for the band Glassjaw.

Daryl's new side project, United Nations, will release their album on September 9 and as the date gets closer new info is released. The band has a website now at unitedfuckingnations.com, a curious one I guess. Also available is Eyeball Records' artist page where you can download some media and even listen to the first sample from the album, titled after the band's name. Sounds like a good start.

Daryl, Nick and Glue are back at it again! Come through the SPORTS dj set this Thursday, August 14th, and don't forget to check them out in the September issue of AP:

This Friday, August 15th, Daryl P will be DJ-ing at the Robot Rock party at Le Royale. Expect some groovy electro, French house, Indie dance, and robot rock. This is 21 plus with ID, and doors are at 10pm.

Also, Head Automatica have begun "official" pre-producation for their next album at Brothers prestigious studio in Brooklyn. The band will be documenting this on their myspace, so hit up www.myspace.com/headautomatica to check out the latest flicks detailing the process in the photo album entitled, "Brothers Studio", check it out!
